Step 1: Create Your Account

Sign up at platform.iploop.io. You'll get 0.5 GB free to start testing immediately.

Step 2: Get Your Credentials

After signing in, go to your Dashboard. You'll see two keys on the right side:

  • ID Key — Your customer ID (UUID). Used as the proxy username.
  • API Key — Your secret key. Used as the proxy password. Click Copy to copy the full key.
You can manage and generate additional API keys from API Keys in the sidebar, or use the Reset button on the dashboard.

Step 3: Make Your First Request

Using cURL

curl -x proxy.iploop.io:8880 \
  -U "YOUR_CUSTOMER_ID:YOUR_API_KEY" \
  https://httpbin.org/ip

Using Python (SDK — Recommended)

pip install iploop-sdk

from iploop import IPLoop
proxy = IPLoop("YOUR_API_KEY")
r = proxy.get("https://httpbin.org/ip")
print(r.json())

Using Python (requests)

import requests

proxy = "http://:[email protected]:8880"
response = requests.get("https://httpbin.org/ip",
    proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy})
print(response.json())  # {"ip": "1.2.3.4", "country": "US", ...}

Using Node.js

const axios = require("axios");

const response = await axios.get("https://ip.iploop.io/location", {
  proxy: {
    host: "proxy.iploop.io",
    port: 8880,
    auth: { username: "", password: "YOUR_API_KEY" }
  }
});
console.log(response.data);

Step 4: Verify It Works

The response will show the proxy IP's location:

{
  "ip": "72.134.91.55",
  "country": "US",
  "city": "Los Angeles",
  "region": "California",
  "isp": "Residential ISP"
}

That's it! You're now routing traffic through IPLoop's residential proxy network.
