How do I get started with IPLoop proxies? ▼
Sign up for an account, generate your API key from the dashboard, and use our code examples to integrate residential proxies into your application. Check the Documentation page for detailed guides.
What proxy types are available? ▼
IPLoop offers Residential Proxies (100M+ IPs), Datacenter Proxies, Mobile Proxies, and ISP Proxies. Each type is optimized for different use cases like web scraping, ad verification, and market research.
How is bandwidth calculated? ▼
Bandwidth is measured by the total data transferred through our proxy network. Both upload and download traffic count toward your usage. You can monitor your usage in real time on the Analytics page.
Can I target specific countries or cities? ▼
Yes! IPLoop supports geo-targeting by country, state, and city. Use the country code parameter (-cc) in your proxy request to target specific locations.
What is the Earn program? ▼
The Earn program lets you share your unused bandwidth and earn credits. Install our SDK on your device, and you'll get paid for every GB of bandwidth shared. Cash out anytime via PayPal, crypto, or gift cards.
How do I cancel or change my plan? ▼
Go to Billing → Plans in your dashboard. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Which payment methods do you accept? ▼
We currently accept PayPal for all account top-ups and subscriptions. Additional methods are on our roadmap — if you need an alternative for an enterprise plan, reach out via Contact Us.
Do unused credits or bandwidth roll over? ▼
Top-up credits never expire — they stay on your account until used. Subscription bandwidth resets at the start of each billing cycle and does not roll over.
How do I rotate IPs or keep a sticky session? ▼
Every request through our gateway gets a fresh IP by default. For sticky sessions (same IP for several minutes), append a session-XXXX identifier to your username — see the Proxy Setup page for the exact format and TTL options.
Is there a free trial? ▼
New accounts get a small amount of trial bandwidth to test our residential network end-to-end. Once you've verified the setup works, you can top up any amount from $5 and upward.
What's the difference between HTTP(S) and SOCKS5? ▼
HTTP(S) is the easiest option for browsers and scraping libraries. SOCKS5 supports any TCP/UDP protocol and is preferred when you need lower-level network access. Both are included in every residential plan.
How do I reset my API key? ▼
Open Key Management from the sidebar, click the menu on the key you want to rotate, and choose Revoke. Create a new key in the same screen — existing sessions will stop working once the old key is revoked.
Why am I getting 407 or 429 errors? ▼
407 means authentication failed — double-check your username, password, and IP whitelist. 429 means you're being rate-limited by the target site, not by us — slow your concurrency or rotate IPs more aggressively.
How long does it take to get a reply from support? ▼
We typically respond within 2–4 hours during business hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm UTC). Complex billing or technical questions can take up to one business day.
